The Six Traditions....

Hello everyone. (note the lack of exclamation. Man Utd lost to Bayern last night so I'm not really in a very good place right now but fortunately I won't let that deter me.) So we left off about to learn the Six Traditions of Camarilla vampires from our book so back on the bus. C'mon, time waits for no one. Let's hit the road!

The First Tradition:
The Masquerade
Thou shall not reveal thy nature to those not of the Blood. Doing so shall renounce thy claims of Blood.
The Second Tradition:
The Domain
Thy domain is thine own concern. All others owe thee respect while in it. None may challenge thy word while in thy domain.
The Third Tradition:
The Progeny
Thou shall sire another only with the permission of thine elder. If thou creates another without thine elder's leave, both thee and thy progeny shall be slain
The Fourth Tradition:
The Accounting
Those thou create are thine own childer. Until thy progeny shall be realeased, thou shall command them in all things. Their sins are thine to endure.
The Fifth Tradtion:
Hospitality
Honour one another's domain. When thou comest to a foreign city, thou shall present thyself to the one who ruleth there. Without the word of acceptance, thou art nothing.
The Sixth Tradition:
Destruction
Thou art forbidden to destroy another of thy kind. The right of destruction belongeth only to thine elder. Only the eldest among thee shall call the blood hunt.

The Camarilla was ultimately a global structure on top of a collection of feudal domains. It was headed by members of the Inner Circle, sometimes known as the Council of Primogen. It was this group of people who were responsible for defining policy and smoothing out any inter-clan grievances. It was this group of people that were now gathered around the table.

Tomorrow, we'll continue from here where the book will go into detail about the seven clans of the Camarilla. Without further ado, on to vampire "fact" #3: According to legend, if a person was bitten by a vampire they would need to drink the ashes of a vampire in order to prevent the change. Alternatively they could be kept under watch and if they even felt an inkling of the change, they could be immersed in tad poled river water for the duration of the period they did not "feel" like themselves (head above water, body immersed). I hope you're counting, we still got 37 more "facts" left to go!
So I really hope everybody (or somebody) is enjoying my blog so far and I just wanna take this time to say I'll soon be blogging about my other publications, namely: Creatures of the Night (Genesis) which is up for free on Smashwords.com for some time now. As such expect the blogging to be of significantly more length than the one I'm doing now so hopefully it will give you a better and more detailed taste of my handiwork.
To top our day voila!
"But first, on earth as vampire sent,
Thy corpse shall from it's tomb be rent,
Then ghastly haunt thy native race,
And suck the blood of all thy race." - Lord Byron
